Marie,
I enjoyed the composition of your shots. You captured different aspects of the beauty of the area – from the rocky terrain, to the snow covering the paths, to the waterfalls. I enjoyed these very much! Kudos!!!

I agree with Mary–composition and variety made this an attractive subject. I’m not so sure the sometimes cool tones or green tones used in the processing added to the perspective. The close-up of Marie seemed the most “natural”. However, maybe the object was to create a more “magical” presentation. Irregardless, very enjoyable. Thanks for sharing. Sue
Marie’s self portrait was processed using Lightroom alone. Photoshop and Lightroom were used for the “walking stick / blue shoes” photo. The rest were processed with Photomatix with finishing touches in Lightroom.
I struggle with the amount of saturation to use in my photos. Most of these look oversaturated (too colorful) on the monitors that I use, but look fine on various tablet devices. If I back off the saturation for a more natural look on my monitor, the images have a “blah” look on tablet devices and on many computer monitors too.
These photos are great! Especially liked the dappled light on the trail, patterns in the soil photo, shadow on the water photo and the selfie! All very creative. So great that Marilyn, Kevin and Marie all do photography (Joe probably does too)!
